Qendrim Hoxha

Qëndrim Hoxha is the Vice President of LDA Balkan and its General Director for the Kosovo branch. He is also the Leader of the Trailblazer community for Kosovo. He is also the Manager of the Local Action Group “Natyra” in the municipality of Shtime. He has completed Bachelor studies at the Faculty of Education – University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina” and is now completing postgraduate studies with specialization in teaching History, also at the University of Prishtina. In the past he has been the founder and chairman of the organization Perspective Pro European. After that he was chairman of the Youth Assembly in Shtime, he was also a member of the Youth Assembly of Kosovo. Since 2009 he has been active in civil society, in which he is known for his creativity and active
citizenship. He is the founder of several organizations such as Pro European Perspective, Shtime Youth Initiative, Center for Education and Development “The Future”, Innovation and Professional Development “Academy”, Network of Youth Organizations “PRO NET” and recently
helped development of the LDA Balkan organization in about thirty (30) cities of Kosovo and five (5) Balkan countries. He is currently the national coordinator for the organization of international conferences “Learn, Engage, Act, Progress (LEAP) in Kosovo and co-coordinator for their organization in Albania, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro and the Presevo Valley. Qëndrim has been active in student life, advocating for the requests of students of the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”. His area of expertise is leadership, administration and management in Non-Governmental Organizations.
Activities:
Commitment to increasing active citizenship and promoting volunteerism as a social value by being a leader in several organizations in Kosovo and a member of their boards. Finally, the Youth Peace Ambassador for the World Youth Summit for Peace.
Conferences:
He has participated in international conferences such as: “LEAP Summit” in Zagreb, Croatia in 2018 and 2019, the conference “DREAMin Albania” in Tirana in 2020. The most important local conferences he attended are “Building a common future with perspective for Kosovo and Serbian youth” held by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Pristina Office in 2016, “The role and importance of nonformal education” held in Ferizaj from the Initiative for Activation in 2013, etc. Qëndrim has been a speaker at the conferences: LEAPin Tirana 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020,
LEAPin Prishtina 2018 and 2019, LEAP Summit in Zagreb in the OPEN MIC session in 2019, the First Virtual Summit on “Balkan Youth in the Time of the COVID Pandemic -19 ”, the Second Virtual Summit on the topic “Denigrating language of young people on social media and their awareness”, etc.
Study Visits:
He has participated in various study visits of cultural character in the countries: Dubrovnik, Zagreb and Split (Croatia), Tirana, Durrës, Shkodra, Apollonia, Kruja, Lezha, Berat, Korca and Pogradec (Albania), Ulcinj, Budva, Kotor and Rizon (Montenegro), Stobi in Northern Macedonia, Prishtina, Prizren, Harilaq and Ulpiana in Kosovo.
Training:
Qëndrim has conducted important trainings and has been certified in the trainings: “Monitoring public procurement in theory and practice” by USAID, “Cooperation between the media and civil society in addressing corruption” by USAID, “Project cycle management and proposal writing of the project ”by OSCE, training in the field of Law and Finance from the Professional Academy “ELITA ”, Training for Trainer in LEADER by NORDK and GIZI, the first part in Skopje and the second part in Tirana Tirana, etc.
